     Words CANNOT express how happy I have been lately. I just feel like I truly deserve everything that is coming my way. I'm feeling very blessed. I got rid of ALL of the drama in my life. I'm surrounded with good people, GREAT friends, and I have an UGHMAAAZING person keeping a smile on my face from the minute I wake up, to the very second I fall asleep. In such a short time, I swear...my brain went from being so mentally and emotionally weak, to feeling BRAND NEW with having clear and positive thoughts only. I can officially say that making that one final and major decision turned my whole life around.
     In the Bible on 1 Corinthians 10:13 it says; "No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it."  I didn't actually think that it would get as bad as it did for me emotionally but honestly, I'm glad it did. It not only taught me a lot about my self, but also showed me some things that needed to be changed in my life in general. I've always known that this was God's way of leading me to the path he has intended for me. And it never fails. When you are lost and you give in to Him, he will show you the way...always! No other words to explain how I'm feelin'. I'm more than lucky and more than fortunate...I'm BLESSED, and I can't say this enough! :)

     So, I have been neglecting my blog lately. I was super busy with the fashion convention, but now it's over and it's kind of bittersweet :( . I LOVE LOVE working PROJECT!! I love the fashion/event industry, and most importantly, I love everyone that I work with from the east coast!! I will most definitely miss all of them until next season. :)
     Anyway, I'm sure you guys are wondering if I've gone out on any dates since I did say I would start to, and keep an open mind about it. Well, the answer is...............NO. LOL.. Aside from me being busy since that post, I can't help the fact that the majority of the people that I want to go on a date with are NOT from Vegas!!! Story of my life.....hahaha. But seriously, someone has caught my attention tho. <---- CHEEEESIN'!!. This was least expected, TRUST ME!! So we'll see...... lol. I don't want to share too much info about it right now, but this girl makes me SMILE a lot!! She makes me feel good. <3
     On another note, this month will be my month to catch up on ALL of my painting requests!!! I am falling behind so I do apologize to those who have requested to buy a painting from me. But I'm on it, I promise!! Ummm..that's pretty much it!! Everything from last week on have gotten sooooo much better and I've been so much happier since my emotional breakdown!! lol. I'm good...I'm feelin' good and feeling optimistic about what the rest of the year holds for me. I have the most amazing group of friends and support right now, and I feel like these new people are coming in at such a perfect time in my life. Each and every one of them is falling slowly into place in my life where they need to be. Moving on from all the negative in my past and starting all over was one of the best decisions I've made in a while, because it has open up some doors to bigger and better opportunities for me. Overall, I feel very blessed!!

     So last night, I came to a realization, and pretty much just snapped the fuck out of it!! LOL..REALLY!! I snapped out of this emotional rollercoaster that I've been in for a while now. For actually way longer than I thought. So here it is..I thought about this all day, and I think that I want to start dating again. Am I ready you ask?? YES, MOST DEFINITELY!! Not that I've ever really dated, but after my recent breakdown, to be quite honest... it was just the closure I needed to finally MOVE THE FUCK ON!! lol I've been unhappy for way too long and have tried to make it work, over and over again and it's just NOT happening.. (apparently!!). And obviously, me hiding a rock and trying to deal with my emotions on my own isn't working so well to my advantage. It has made me realize a lot about myself tho, and it has made me more numb to bullshit. It's also made me realize how mentally strong I am to be sooooo emotionally and pathetically low and allow to bring myself out of that. Mainly all on my own, but not without the help of a few <---- [[key word..few]] awesome friends (you guys know who you are!!). You guys are theeee BEST!! THANK YOU!!!
     I'm trying this whole dating thing with an open heart, and an open mind! How do you even "date"?!?! LOL But yea...I want this to be a positive experience for me. I want to share my awesomeness to the whole entire world!!!! LOL...not really, but I do want to have fun. I want to meet new people, be stress and drama free and who knows...I may run into that "one" person who could possibly sweep me off my feet again. However, I'm going into this without any expectations WHATSOEVER. Expectations only lead to disappointments anyway. But I will set my standards high. Afterall, we all deserve to be the best and have the best. I'm pretty excited and nervous about this new adventure in my life...but I know it will open up a whole 'nother world for me to discover, and I know I know this will be good. I can feel it. <3

I received this text this afternoon from a hater. LOL jk. It's from someone I know very well, and you know who YOU are (and I know you're reading this!!). This text literally made me laugh out loud. As much as she tried to be joking and sarcastic with this text, I know this is exactly how she feels and I know exactly what she means behind every word. Here's what the text says:

Surprise! Surprise!

     So, I went out last night. Finally had a night of just good laughs and positive vibes with good people!! LOVE IT!! I met a few new faces also. Very nice people. The cocktail waitress was cute and fun. LOL. Hahahaha sorry, but she was funny..lol.   She left me a little surprise reminder on my arm that I think is soooo cuuuute!! See that picture to the right --> yeah dat! I woke up and saw this and literally had to back track in my mind as to how I got that! I'm not going to put her business out there, but she has NEVER been with a girl before but is curious. Hmm...Next topic!! lol

     So, I received another surprise last night by my brother's girlfriend (she's the best!!). I found it laying on my tv stand, but I guess I was supposed to see it right away as soon as I walked in my room, but of course, I didn't!!! LOL I finally saw it when I was changing. She got me the book that I've read many times before, but for some reason I don't have in my bookshelf! The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. I also have his other book, The Art of Seduction, and I've read that book twice. Awesome books!
     I also finally got to see my brother, Ronaldo. I didn't see him for about 3days so that was long enough for me. Plus he's a big mess right now. He hurt his back and broke his foot, all on the same weekend...smh. But, we had a one-on-one deep talk last night, errr should I say at 4a this morning. We all need to vent sometimes and I know he needed it. I love my brothers and I try my best to be there for them whenever they need me. :)

     Anyway, that was some part of my night last night. Oh, before I forget...I had another person (this time it's a guy) that gave me a hug and introduced himself to me. I asked if I knew him from anywhere and he said not in person, but we are Facebook friends and he seen that I checked in at Krave last night. Well, I've also had a couple of incident where I've been approached before and was asked if I was "Rica from Facebook!" LOL Ummmm, is that bad?!? I'm not trying to be the next Tila Tequila or anything, but I do love all of my Facebook friends. You guys are awesome..both my real ones and online ones!! <3 Umm.. yeah so that's it! lol Have an awesome day guys!!

Lazy Sunday

     So, I said I would write about my night last night but I'm too lazy! LOL As interesting as it was, I really don't feel like writing about it. I'm struggling even writing this post!! Lol I need.more.sleep! Currently, I'm thinking about the donuts we have in the kitchen downstairs, but I'm too lazy to grab one!! I wish I had super powers to make the donuts come to me :/ . I wanted to paint a little tonight also, but that's not gonna happen. I came home this morning and the canvas had a rip on it!! >:/ I guess I left the door to my room open..and I'm assuming the dogs were playing in my room, rough housing and my painting somehow got knocked to the floor and was stepped on/clawed on/jumped on. :( i have a another canvas in my closet, but that one is too big so I'm gonna have to make another trip to Blick tomorrow [yey!!] and buy a couple more.
     I hope everyone had a good Sunday today! I'm going to force myself downstairs in the kitchen, grab a donut and some milk, get cuddled up under my blankey with Jakey & Sailor and call it a Netflix night!! Have a goodnight beautiful people!!

Finally Home!

     So, I just got home. Last night was very interesting to say the least. Ummmm, I met someone. Well, a couple of people actually. Exchanged numbers with them, but to be quite honest...I'm not really interested in getting to know anyone right now. Like, at all!!!! So we'll see how all that works out. Oh! So I got pulled over  by the fucking way!!!! GrRrr!!! One citation, four violations!! An estimate of $2,ooo total! Not to mention, I still have 2 violations I'm trying to pay off right now! And to top it all off, I had to take a sobriety test!! A full on, follow my finger, walk on a straight line, balance on one foot, and the breathalizer....the works!!!!! I was also kind of stranded with a friend at a hotel. I would love to talk more about my adventurous night, but I'm still tipsy and I'm tired so I'll continue this in a few hours. Goodnight people!

In My Zone

     So, I'm starting on my painting in a few minutes. I got my Pandora playing, a bottle of wine, my blank canvas ready, and my pencil ready to sketch away. I'm getting in the zone. I found a few ideas on the style of painting I want this one to look like, but I'm just pretty much gonna go with the flow on this one as I go and see what other ideas I come up with. I'm going to make a new tab on my blog called, A P[art] of Me and post pictures of this painting as I work on it and any other paintings I make from here on out. So, I should have a sketch somewhat done by the end of the night or by tomorrow morning. I'm super stoked!! Have an awesome night everyone!!! :)

      Got more art supplies today, and this time we went to Blick Art Materials. Today was my very first time ever going there....EVER!!  (don't judge me). Oh mahh gaahhh, that place is AMAAAZING!! I'm almost scared to say this but.... I love it more than Michael's!! Yah! They have sooo much more selection on everything I needed!! I love that place forever!!!! :)

Ready to Start Painting Again :)

     So, I went to Michael's (Arts & Crafts Store) today and finally got some painting supplies that I needed. I didn't really have much time to look around like I wanted to so I know I'll be making another trip there as soon as I finish sketching up the painting I have in mind. I already have the inspiration for this painting, and that is Adele, one of the most talented singer-songwriter there is, and her song 'Make You Feel My Love'.
     This painting is actually being made for one of my good friends, per request. Adele is one of her favored artists and so is mine. I picked this song in particular because this song has a lot of emotions and soul behind it. From the piano to its lyrics and her voice, this song can't be anymore inspirational for this painting and especially with my recent experience with a loved one.
     So, I hope to get started on this painting by tomorrow night and we'll see where my creative thoughts take me from there. :)
   

Fukuburger Truck

     So, tonight I had Fukuburger for the first time. I had their 'Jazz Fries' since I don't eat meat and my brother ordered their Tamago Burger aka the 'Egg' burger. The Jazz Fries had some seasoning on it and what they called, gravy and crack sauce, and the Egg Burger had egg of course lol, meat and some other stuff that my brother didn't really pay attention to. Overall, the food was.....well I can't really give it a rating. I only ate their fries and that was good! My brother said his burger was ok, but his opinion doesn't count since this is my blog, not his lol. Plus he and I have different likes and dislikes and our taste buds clash sometimes.The truck is really cute tho and all the Asian workers. I think a lot of the hype that goes along with Fukuburger is the whole idea of it, it's attraction to the younger/cooler crowd, and the majority of the time I hear people bragging about it is when they are eating it at 4a drunk, across the street from Pho Kim Long!! Like I said, the food isn't bad at all. I love everything about it and you can't really take my word for it since all I really ate were their fries. LOL.. Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

LAS VEGAS -- A new 26-acre waterpark is making a splash in Las Vegas, creating jobs and boosting the bottom line for businesses. Clark County Commissioners unanimously voted for the park and aquatics center, saying they are a few months away from a groundbreaking.

The park will be built near Fort Apache and Warm Springs. The county expects about 400 jobs -- 200 to build the facilities and 200 to operate them. Businesses in the area excited about being flooded with more customers.

"Right now it's ok, but I think it's going to be more customers," said Pia Taing with Benjarong Thai Restaurant.

Not far from the restaurant Taing manages is Raw Health, where the owner Robin Shaw is thinking about the health of the community.

"There's just a lot of vacancies, a lot of empty resident spots, lot of empty commercial spots. So by bringing this project over here, it might make certain people aware of this and say, 'Hey, maybe I should move here or I'll start doing some business here,'" she said.

"We plan on moving forward, they plan on moving forward and it was a seven to zero vote," said County Commissioner Susan Brager. "It's going to be in the southwest section of our community, great access to freeways, people seeing what's out there. Wet n' Wild was over the top and that's how this is going to be, along with that aquatics center and a park in the very front of it."

The Howard Hughes Company, who is supporting the project, has several other parks in Texas called Hawaiian Falls. Owners say they want to keep the name of this park a secret until the groundbreaking, but it's no secret they will be open for business Memorial Day of 2012.

Making the Right Decision

   
     So, as of yesterday I was actually offered a wonderful opportunity to work for a management team and help re-launch a nightspot venue (awesome right?!?). But I also have an opportunity to take a break from that lifestyle, start school again this semester and start a career and finally get my life on the right path for the long-term. Decisions...decisions.... damn! I feel like alot of opportunities are coming my way at this exact point in my life and this is a test on whether or not I can resist temptation and make the right decisions.

     I just honestly feel like I'm on a whole 'nother lever this time around. And this time around, I need to make sure that the decisions I make are going to benefit me in the long run and not just for that moment. I think I know what I need to do, it's just a matter of me getting used to unfamiliar decisions and all the changes that its going to bring my life. 'It only takes that one major decision to change your life forever.....'
