In My Zone

     So, I'm starting on my painting in a few minutes. I got my Pandora playing, a bottle of wine, my blank canvas ready, and my pencil ready to sketch away. I'm getting in the zone. I found a few ideas on the style of painting I want this one to look like, but I'm just pretty much gonna go with the flow on this one as I go and see what other ideas I come up with. I'm going to make a new tab on my blog called, A P[art] of Me and post pictures of this painting as I work on it and any other paintings I make from here on out. So, I should have a sketch somewhat done by the end of the night or by tomorrow morning. I'm super stoked!! Have an awesome night everyone!!! :)

Art Heaven!!!

      Got more art supplies today, and this time we went to Blick Art Materials. Today was my very first time ever going there....EVER!!  (don't judge me). Oh mahh gaahhh, that place is AMAAAZING!! I'm almost scared to say this but.... I love it more than Michael's!! Yah! They have sooo much more selection on everything I needed!! I love that place forever!!!! :)

Ready to Start Painting Again :)

     So, I went to Michael's (Arts & Crafts Store) today and finally got some painting supplies that I needed. I didn't really have much time to look around like I wanted to so I know I'll be making another trip there as soon as I finish sketching up the painting I have in mind. I already have the inspiration for this painting, and that is Adele, one of the most talented singer-songwriter there is, and her song 'Make You Feel My Love'.
     This painting is actually being made for one of my good friends, per request. Adele is one of her favored artists and so is mine. I picked this song in particular because this song has a lot of emotions and soul behind it. From the piano to its lyrics and her voice, this song can't be anymore inspirational for this painting and especially with my recent experience with a loved one.
     So, I hope to get started on this painting by tomorrow night and we'll see where my creative thoughts take me from there. :)
